Downtown Las Vegas parking can feel daunting when you don’t know where to go. You want to find a spot that’s centrally located to all the downtown action without it being too difficult to get in and out, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Does this even exist?
Turns out, yes, it does. The official Fremont Street Experience parking garage checks all these boxes, and then some. Get ready to learn more than you ever wanted to know about this epic garage in the heart of downtown.

The Fremont Street Experience parking garage is located at 111 S. 4th Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101. The entrance is off of 4th Street between Carson Avenue and Fremont Street, across from The D Las Vegas. Just look for the red and white garage with a bright green “parking” sign directing you where to turn.
Keep in mind that 4th Street is a one-way road. This means you’ll need to turn onto 4th Street from Carson Avenue to get to the entrance. If you hit Fremont Street, you’ve gone too far. Not to worry, just take the next right and swing around the block. We promise, it’s not going anywhere. Check out our downtown Las Vegas map to get a better idea of what we’re talking about.
The downtown Vegas parking garage has five levels with more than 1,300 spaces, leaving plenty of room for downtown Las Vegas visitors, even during concerts, or other large-scale events happening on Fremont Street.
Every floor has access to elevators and stairs, so you can quickly make your way to all the nearby attractions, including the SlotZilla Zipline, Viva Vision canopy, downtown Las Vegas casinos and Fremont East District.
Book tickets for the SlotZilla Zipline online.
You’ll use the first floor for direct access to the street. However, if you’re visiting any of the stores, restaurants or entertainment at Neonopolis, there’s actually a convenient bridge going from the fourth floor of the parking garage directly to the Neonopolis building.
The first 15 minutes in the garage are free. After that, the rate is $4 per hour, with a daily maximum rate of $20. The charge for a lost ticket is also $20. On rare occasions, when a major event is happening, there may be a daily flat rate due to peak demand. However, it’s typically less than what other parking lots in the area are charging.
Something you may not know is the Fremont Street Experience garage also offers monthly parking deals for downtown workers. The first month is $60. After that, the monthly fee for parking is just $50. Visit the Fremont Street Experience executive parking offices on the second floor to get your monthly parking pass.
You can find another cool detail about the parking garage on the outside of the structure. There are two massive murals along Carson Avenue that were painted during the Life Is Beautiful Festival, which takes place here in downtown Las Vegas.
The first, completed in 2017, is an explosion of colors by a Greek street artist referred to as “This is my b world.” The other is an homage to Elvis, a true Vegas icon, painted by Romanian artist Saddo in 2018.

Now, on to the nitty gritty parking details. We realize this isn’t the most riveting read, but trust us, it will come in handy.
When entering the parking garage, there are two Flash kiosks where you can either get your ticket, or enter your credit card for the parking garage arm to open.
There are actually several options on the kiosk screen, which can be a bit confusing, so just stick to the basics. If you haven’t been here before, it’s probably easiest just to tap the red touchscreen button to get your ticket. There are several convenient ways to pay before you leave, which we’ll get to in a minute.
After the kiosk prints your ticket, the arm will raise, and you can enter the garage. You’ll turn right onto a ramp that takes you straight to the second floor where you can start to look for open parking spaces.

It’s important to note that the height limits will decrease as you move to higher levels in the garage. You’ll start with a clearance of eight feet, and will taper down to seven feet. If you have a taller vehicle, find a parking spot on a lower level to avoid issues.
If you happen to make it to the top fifth floor, there are actually a few things worth seeing while you’re up there. First, you can get up close and personal with the top of Hennessey’s massive pint glass that sits above the bar. It actually holds the record for the world’s largest pint glass, so take a minute to bask.
You’ll also have an excellent view of the SlotZilla launch tower from the parking lot’s top floor. Some might even argue it is the best view, apart from being on the launch pad itself. You’ll see the ZipZilla and Super-Hero Zoom lines, the famous Vegas showgirl, the coins toppling out of SlotZilla and the massive slot machine handle.
When it’s time to head out, you have a few options to pay for parking. First, there are multiple kiosks on the first floor where you can scan your parking ticket, and pay with cash or a credit card. There is another kiosk on the second floor, which is helpful because the first floor can get crowded. After paying, the kiosk will print a receipt with a barcode, which you’ll need to exit.
However, the easier way to pay is to either text “PAY” to (702) 996-3573, or scan the payment QR code located on every level by the elevators. If you text, you’ll be sent a link to parkwhiz.com by Flash. The QR code will take you to the same site. Then, all you have to do is scan the barcode on your ticket with your smartphone.
This will take you to a page with your parking details, including when you entered, how much time you were in the garage and the amount you owe. You can either set up payment through Apple Pay or Google Pay, or use a credit card to make the payment. Once payment is complete, a barcode is displayed on your phone. Use this to exit the garage.

When leaving the garage, you’ll exit onto Carson Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and 4th Street. From there, you’re only a few blocks away from access to the I-515, US 95 or I-15, which will take you to the Strip.
It’s also worth noting that the parking garage houses the Fremont Street Experience security team, and a Las Vegas Metro Police substation, making it one of the safest places to park near Fremont Street.

Now you know exactly where to park the next time you get a hankering for some good ol’ fashioned Vegas fun. How do I get a $40 monthly parking pass for the garage?
The $40 dollar monthly parking pass can be purchased Monday through Friday at the garage exit booth or at the reception desk in our second floor administrative offices.
Can you tell me which street the exits of the garage is on? Thank you!
The exit is on Carson, between 4th Street and Las Vegas Boulevard.
THANKS!
I appreciate the info!
GREAT article. Direct, intelligent (intelligent enough) great use of colloquialisms and straight talk. Very entertaining and informative. THANK YOU! Do I get my 5 bucks for the plug now you promised? KIDDING! Seriously though. Great article. I liked your creative free-style.

So the sign/photo above says validation credits taken automatically but it is vague. I tried to snip and paste but there is no information on how to get ticket validated can I spend X amount of dollars and get it validated. So you don’t want us to know and ASK
Only in Vegas where GREED is part of the soul of the community.
Does the $40 monthly parking pass allow you to park 24hrs/10 days, if staying at a downtown hotel?
Hi, and thanks for your interest. There are rules about parking for extended periods of time. Except in special circumstances, vehicles can’t be left for more than 24 hours at a time. So, the scenario you’re describing wouldn’t work, unfortunately.
How close is the garage to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop?
Hi I was just doing some research about parking monthly parking pass in the downtown area . I’m starting a job next week as a runner for a restaurant and Club right in the area . I would like to get a parking pass, I would be parking around 7p or 8p at night and coming and going several times a shift it would be Thursday through Sunday would there be any problems with that thank you

When we returned to our vehicle, the passenger side had been keyed substantially! Someone wrote LEARN HOW TO PARK and scratched all up and down the side. Do we have any recourse?
Whoever wrote this deserves a raise!!! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
I agree! 👍🏼
Where is the closest valet parking to Fremont Street? I need just as little walking as possible.
Four Queens, Binions and the D are all right on the Freemont Street Experience. None of them are far to walk except Main Street Station but even that one is just a small block to walk.
How about motorcycle parking? In a lot of garages motorcycles park for free in a designated area. Is this a thing here?
Motorcycles must pay as well.
Does any of the Hotels offer parking for veterans like some of the Hotels on the Strip?

Cozy conversation about parking structures…cute!
Where do we go to get monthly parking at the 4th St. lot?
Do regular pick-up trucks (i.e. Ram 1500, Ford 150) fit especially has the height gets shorter?
