What to Expect for New Year’s Eve at Fremont Street Experience

You won’t find another New Year’s Eve bash in Las Vegas quite like America’s Party Downtown. Our annual New Year’s Eve celebration ushers in the new year with live music performances on three stages (plus an EDM stage constructed just for the occasion), dazzling Viva Vision light shows and a special appearance by Mayor Carolyn Goodman and her husband, former Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman.

Live Entertainment

Our NYE party features four stages along Fremont Street, 12 bands and flashy onstage pyrotechnic displays. America’s Party Downtown will keep you dancing the night away even after the countdown to 2019! The Casino Center stage is sure to captivate the crowds with aerial acts, high-energy dancers and the hottest EDM music to close out the year with a bang.

There will be a midnight countdown at each stage followed by a two-minute pyrotechnic display.

2:00 p.m. – Dancing DJ
6:00 p.m. – Empire Records, performing top dance hits of the ’90s
8:00 pm – Crush, playing a variety of rock favorites

There’s nothing more Las Vegas than the Goodmans. Mayor Carolyn Goodman is currently serving her second term, following her husband’s three terms as mayor of Las Vegas. Their love for the city is deep-rooted, and they certainly never miss an opportunity to show it off in style.

Both Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Oscar Goodman will be joining our New Year’s Eve festivities as they do every year. It’s not a real Sin City party until Oscar Goodman has a martini in hand, so get those cameras ready to capture these Las Vegas icons in action!

Parking in Downtown Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve

Downtown Las Vegas will be crowded on New Year’s Eve, so plan on arriving early.

One of the most convenient parking options downtown on New Year’s Eve is the Fremont Street Experience parking garage. The entrance is on 4th Street, off Carson. On New Year’s Eve, there will be a flat fee of $20 starting at noon. Learn more.

Another option is to consider using a ride-sharing service. Fremont Street Experience has partnered with Lyft to help you get to and from the New Year’s Eve celebration quickly and safely.

What You Need to Know

With so much action happening on New Year’s Eve, you’ll want to be prepared before you head to America’s Party Downtown this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • The New Year’s Eve bash is an adults-only event. You must be 21 or older to attend.
  • You must purchase a ticket to access America’s Party Downtown. Click here to get tickets.
  • Fremont Street Experience will close at 5:00 p.m. on December 31 for a security sweep. Gates to the party open at 6:00 p.m.
  • Live performances on the four concert stages will go until 3:30 a.m.
