If the spooky costumes and spectacular decorations in downtown Las Vegas aren’t enough this Halloween, Here Come the Mummies will be “trick-or-treating” audiences to a free concert at the Fremont Street Experience’s 3rd Street stage! The eight-piece funk-rock band features musicians decked out as Egyptian mummies and has been playing to sold-out shows across the country. Special Halloween Viva Vision Light Show

Nightly, following regularly-scheduled Viva Vision shows at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

The iconic Viva Vision screen at Fremont Street Experience is a true Las Vegas landmark featuring the world’s largest single video screen that spans 1,500 feet and towers 90 feet above the bustling downtown crowd. In true Halloween fashion, Viva Vision will play a mix of your favorite ghoulish songs, including “Monster Mash,” “Thriller” and famous theme songs from “The Addams Family,” “Ghostbusters” and “Nightmare on Elm Street.” All Viva Vision light shows are free and open to the public. Sin City Halloween 5K Run and Parade

Sin City Halloween will be hosting a 5K Halloween Run and a Halloween Parade on Oct. 27 in downtown Las Vegas. Strut your stuff while running around downtown at 6:00 p.m. or slow it down for the parade at 8:30 p.m. Registration for the 5K run can be done before the event, but you must register ahead of time to participate in the parade. Both events are free for spectators. The parade will start between 8th and 9th Streets on Fremont Street and ends at the Abbey Road crosswalk, just blocks from the Fremont Street Experience. Don’t forget to hurry back to the 3rd Street stage near The D for the free Here Come the Mummies concert at 9:00 p.m.

 

Vegas Beer and Music Festival, Halloween Edition

The Downtown Events Lot on Fremont Street will be bringing beer lovers and music fans together on Oct. 27 from 6:00p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to celebrate Halloween this year. With admission to the bi-annual Vegas Beer and Music Festival, guests have access to unlimited samples of countless craft beers while enjoying live music and performances throughout the venue. Costumes are highly encouraged, so you’re dressed and ready to go when you walk over to the Fremont Street Experience for the Rock of Horror party.
