Free Concert: Here Come the Mummies

Oct 27
9:00 pm to 11:00 pm

We’ve got a special free concert in store in honor of Halloween! You’ll love Here Come the Mummies as they perform a free show on Oct. 27 at 9:00 p.m. The show takes place on our 3rd Street stage, near The D, Four Queens and Fremont casinos.

Here Come the Mummies is an eight-piece funk rock band of “5,000-year-old Egyptian mummies with a one-track mind.”

Here Come the Mummies
mummies were the original zombies. Minus the brain-eating, usually.

The band has played massive festivals like Summer Camp, Common Ground, Voodoo Fest, Musikfest, Suwannee Hulaween and Riverbend, and the group has nine studio albums to its credit, as well as a string of live albums and compilations.

The band’s song “Dirty Minds” has been featured on TV shows like shows “Big Shots,” “The Loop” and “Scrubs,” along with the movie, “Fired Up.”

Here Come the Mummies has performed with P-Funk, Al Green, KC and the Sunshine Band, Mavis Staples and Cheap Trick, among others.

Take a listen!

Here Come the Mummies’ mysterious personas (the band keeps its members’ names “under wraps”), clever songcraft and emergetic live show are sure to make you an instant fan of Here Come the Mummies, so don’t miss this free show at Fremont Street Experience.
