In honor of the 20th Annual Race for the Cure, Fremont Street Experience partnered with Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada for a SlotZilla Charity Challenge on May 2, 2015.
All money generated from SlotZilla ticket sales that day (from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), totaling $14,460, was donated to the non-profit.

In a similar fundraising effort back in October of 2014, Fremont Street Experience donated $10,000 to Susan G. Komen of Southern Nevada, for a combined total of $24,460 to-date.
“We were so honored to host the Susan G. Komen Southern Nevada Race for the Cure on May 2,” said Tom Bruny, Director of Marketing of Fremont Street Experience. “We are excited to be making this donation as a way to give back to the community–specifically Susan G. Komen which does great work addressing breast cancer on some many levels.”
The SlotZilla Charity Challenge is a way for Fremont Street Experience (which operates the SlotZilla zipline attraction), as well as its partner casinos, to support organizations working to enrich our community. This ongoing series of fundraising efforts has resulted in more than $73,000 in donations going to deserving non-profit organizations in and around Las Vegas.
Thanks to everyone who came down to fly SlotZilla’s lower Zipline ($20) and upper Zoomline ($40) for charity!
Upcoming SlotZilla Charity Challenge events will benefit Three Square food bank (July 16, 2015), Shriners Hospital (Oct. 19, 2015), American Heart Association (Nov. 7, 2015) and Opportunity Village (Dec. 5, 2015).
