First Friday
Friday, Sep. 1, 2017 – 5:00 p.m.
Downtown’s monthly First Friday festival just so happens to fall on Labor Day Weekend. While not affiliated with Fremont Street Experience, downtown visitors often visit both venues on First Friday. The event has been a favorite of locals and tourists for a lively block party environment that includes everything from art showcases and music to food and other exciting entertainment. Free Concert: Better Than Ezra
Monday, Sep 3, 2017 – 9:00 p.m.
On Labor Day, another installment of our free Downtown Rocks concert series happens at the Fremont Street Experience. Originally formed in 1988, the Louisiana alternative rock band, Better Than Ezra, will perform on the Main Street stage outside the Golden Gate casino. The band achieved fame throughout the ’90s, so the concert is sure to draw a nostalgic crowd looking for a great time.
Golden Nugget: Tommy James and the Shondells
Friday, Sep 1, 2017 – 8:00 p.m.
The Golden Nugget continues their 52 Fridays concert series with Tommy James and the Shondells taking the stage. The band, originally formed in 1960, was able to gain widespread success with their chart-topping hits. They continue to perform the classic rock songs that sky rocketed them to fame. This is not a free show, nor is it hosted by Fremont Street Experience. Tickets are required. Be sure to purchase your tickets to the show before they sell out.

Marriage Can Be Murder at The D
This two-hour show at The D Las Vegas keeps the audience guessing as they enjoy a three-course meal while embarking on detective work to figure out a murder case. The mystery show is open to all ages, and it’s your duty to solve the mystery. The show has earned several awards and was most recently named “Best Show in Nevada in 2017” by Nevada Magazine. Spirit of the King: Steve Connolly at Four Queens
At the Four Queens, catch one of the best Elvis tribute artists in Las Vegas. Steve Connolly continues to impress audiences with his uncanny resemblance and spot-on impersonation. Come and enjoy the King of Rock n’ Roll’s music and energy at the “Spirit of the King.” Get tickets.
Hypnosis Unleashed at Binion’s
Come and check out one of the best hypnosis shows in Las Vegas. The show is located in Binion’s, where award-winning hypnotist Kevin Lepine gives the audience a combination of awe and comedic thrill. The show is 18 and older, and is sure to turn skeptics into believers. Get tickets.
