  1. To bad. They are foolish because all the show are 105 when they start. Make the concerts start the 1 of may.

    1. You are right!!! It’s insanely hot, but worth being able to attend a free show…..get there super early and it’s not quite as bad!!!

  2. Thanks for bringing all of these free shows to Fremont Street. I’m not a fan of every band, but I can respect that effort and money that goes into bringing these acts to play for thousands of rowdy fans in our blistering heat. Hat’s off to the FSE people! Truly one of the best things to do for free in Vegas!

  3. I’ve heard of 1 of these bands. A little bit of real music goes a long way. Not everyone wants to listen to music they’ve never heard of

    1. All of these bands have been around for some time and have followings well beyond “20 year olds.” You have had ample time to have heard their stuff. Not knowing who they are is a you problem, not one of the promoters.

      1. Well, you’re probably correct. Me problem for me and others. But then not looking for the same types of bands that are in the bars at home, looking for the Vegas experience, a real show that can be talked about when I get home and want to see when we come back. 3-4 times a year, same group of buddies. We’ve seen some great classic shows that were worth the cab ride from the Bellagio to the Nugget. We can stay on the strip and see these originals type of bands and I’m sure we wouldn’t be missed except for maybe the Nugget that keeps inviting us back. Just saying, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Last word…

        1. this season will be the biggest attended ever…….several of these acts have sold millions of records————-AND THEY ARE FREE

          1. Lol don’t say that…..3 Doors Down shut down Freemont last year it was so packed!!!

        2. Just a good tip. Vegas has it all if you want see someone that you already know about it be ready to spend $100 to $300 for one person ticket and you can never be wrong there. Althought if you love music and or hang around with music and don’t need to shell out a lot of your $ then the Free concerts offered are just great plain and simple. Use the $100 to $300 you would have to pay to a band that you may know to buy few rounds of drinks and food for you and your buddies and shut you mouth off and enjoy.

    2. all of these bands have been around for years—many of them had numerous hit songs–and it is FREE—-

  4. Excited to see Seether and Collective Soul!!! Saw 3 Doors Down last year and managed to snag a VIP pass!!!

  5. Bring back Yellow Brick Road, you guys had a band that made every season seem like a summer party…

  6. Last year on my BIRTHDAY June 11, I saw 3 Doors Down. had a blast scored a Banner 3 DOORS DOWN.
    # the band with photos.I got 3 but only one which now holds sunglasses. I HAVE NOT HAD SO MUCH FUN ON FREMONT THIS YEAR I AM GOING TRY TO MAKE EVERY CONCERT I CAN CAN’T WAIT FOR THEORY OF A DEAD MAN. I FOR SURE AM GOING AMBER HIRE A SITTER
    PARTY TIME

  7. Flight tickets are purchased to see Theory for third time. Perhaps it will be a charmed one Tyler😘
    2012 Yakama
    1016 Salem
    2017 vegas bitch’s!

  8. There have been many amazing concerts on Fremont Street throughout the years from many top bands. Toto, 38 Special. BTO, Eddie Money, and Starship to name a few. Was at last years show with Theory Of A Deadman and it was awesome. Looking forward to the Ann Wilson show on July 3rd. If any of you can go and see a legend and a pioneer for women in the music industry she is a must see. At age 67 she can still sing better than most people half her age.

  9. Over the years, I’ve found that “name artists” will often show up and just jam with whatever band is playing that night. It’s not on FSE’s schedule of events; it’s not planned by them; the artist just decided to appear. On one trip, Joe Cocker showed up unscheduled and sang with the band that was playing; another time, the Platters did the same. Sure, they’re “vintage” singers BUT that’s what’s so great about FSE: You never know when you’ll have a FREE opportunity to see and hear a legend. And the “new” music is always great as well – not to mention the amazing tribute bands that are there some years.

    1. Yep. Just keep her close and don’t stay too long after. She’ll see some girls scantily clad and if you’re okay with that than that’s the worst of it. The bachelor party guys start puking around 12.

  10. CCCHHHHHHEEEEEVVVVVVEEEEEELLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEE!!!

I always wanted to see them in concert, but never made the time. Saw their concert date posted on a sign on Fremont street last time I was there and told my GF that we are coming back. SO, making the trip from San Jose CA just for Chevelle.

Super excited about this. Hopefully I will get in the front row. #GroupieLife haha

  11. Would LOVE to see Collective Soul !!!!! But they play on Sept. 01 and my husband and I don’t arrive in Vegas til Sept. 02 UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But we are going to go see Better Than Ezra!!!!

  12. I was taking some family members to see Collective Soul. They have a 16 yr old. Will she be permitted to attend?
