Binion’s Featured on Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures”

Binion’s, one of the most recognizable casinos in downtown Las Vegas, is now even more famous.

The classic casino was recently featured on Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures.” The Binion’s episode aired March 23, 2019.

Ghost Adventures
Ghost hunters have a new place to hunt: Binion’s.

“Ghost Adventures” features a team of “ghost hunters,” including host Zak Bagans, as they investigate locations reported to be haunted. The show claims the ghost hunters “use the latest scientific gadgets and technology to obtain evidence of the paranormal.” They might be using the word “evidence” a tad loosely, but you get the idea.

Fun fact: Zak Bagans has a haunted museum here in Las Vegas, if you’re into that kind of thing.

In the episode featuring Binion’s, the show says, “Zak and crew investigate two historic hotels inside an infamous Las Vegas casino with a dark and violent history. The long-abandoned hotels, sealed off and left frozen in time, have created a paranormal pressure cooker just waiting to explode.”

Here’s a look at the creepy episode.

Binion’s being featured on “Ghost Adventures” comes on the heels of the casino announcing it will open a new boutique hotel, Hotel Apache.

Hotel Apache will have 81 rooms, each with a decor that harkens back to when the original Hotel Apache opened in 1932. Learn more.

Binion’s will soon have booze and boos. Because Ghosts. We couldn’t resist.

It’s expected the Hotel Apache at Binion’s will open this summer, so warm up your Psychokinetic Energy Meter. Which is totally a real thing.

There have been numerous reports of paranormal activity at the site (Binion’s also integrated The Mint, another hotbed of paranormal rumors), so it was right in the “Ghost Adventures” wheelhouse.

We’re big fans of Binion’s, so it was fun watching the casino featured on “Ghost Adventures.” Visit the official Binion’s Web site to learn more about this classic downtown casino.
