We’ll be hosting the very first SlotZilla Charity Challenge of 2016 to benefit Spread the Word Nevada, an organization devoted to increasing literacy and distributing books to at-risk kids.
On Feb. 25, 2016, all revenue from SlotZilla Zipline and Zoomline sales, between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., will be donated to Spread the Word Nevada.
Since its inception, the SlotZilla Charity Challenge series has raised more than $145,368 for nonprofit organizations in Southern Nevada.
The event with Spread the Word Nevada will highlight Nevada Reading Week which begins Feb. 29.
Spread the Word Nevada is dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy by placing books into the hands and homes of children within Southern Nevada’s at-risk, low income communities.
Since 2001, Spread the Word Nevada has distributed a staggering 3.4 million new and used books to about 420,000 children and their families in Southern Nevada.
