Swim in the Thrilling Las Vegas Shark tTank
We’re one of the best pools in downtown Las Vegas and the only one with live sharks! Our Las Vegas aquarium is located at the Tank Pool and has a 3-story water slide open to all ages. As you slide down the yellow tube, you will pass through a transparent section seeing all the sharks and fish swimming by as they watch you inches away from your body. Then splash down with excitement into the Tank Pool at the bottom of the ride. WooHoo! You just swam with the sharks!

Want to go behind the scenes on a unique tour of the shark aquarium? You can learn more about their habitat care and feeding from resident marine biologists. They’ll explain all the fish contained in the tank. We offer tours at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Tank Pool Hours, Rules and Regulations
The Tank Deck is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is suitable for families. Swimming hours are from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please check our seasonal hours for different times of the year. Our pool season opens in May and ends in November.
Do you have to be a guest at the Golden Nugget to use the Tank pool?
You don’t have to be a guest, but you do have to purchase admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Call ahead to check availability. You can also book a tank daybed or cabana online to gain access to the Tank Pool. Guests staying at the hotel have free access to the Tank Pool area. The Golden Nugget reserves the right to enforce pool rules, cabana rentals, safety and security. No smoking is allowed on the first and second levels of the tank pool. However, the third level allows smoking in reserved areas. No vaping or spray sun care products are allowed. Hot tub guests must be 16.
Tank Seating: Daybeds, Cabanas, Gazebos and Chaise Lounges
We offer a wide variety of seating options for your pleasure, located on three different levels. The first and second levels are suitable for families, while the third level is for adult use only. Our private cabanas and daybeds come with host service, TV, mini fridge, safe, phone, towels and bottled water.
The first level has six gazebos and three cozy lounge areas that seat five. These are great choices for groups of six to eight people. Plus, there are several rows of individual lounge chairs available. See the Tank seating map for details. The second level has ten daybeds. The third level is called the Hideout and has nine private cabanas, an infinity pool and a bar (open to adults only).

The Tank Hideout
Stroll up to the third-floor top level to enjoy a secluded paradise for adults only. You must be 21+ with a photo ID to access. Reserve a private cabana, daybed or gazebo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drinks are served directly at the Hideout bar or in your private cabana hideaway. Enjoy a peaceful swim in our infinity pool. Please make reservations in advance.
The Tank H20 Pool Menu
The H20 bar at the Tank, located on the first floor, offers our signature cocktails: fruit-flavored mojitos, lemonades and punches. You can try vodka jello injectors or shots, taste one of our refreshing specialty-themed celebrity cocktails or grab an ice-cold bucket of bottled beer. We even have a big cooler to mix and match drinks for larger groups of people. And we got you covered if you’re hungry.
