Up for a concert where you know every lyric by heart? Get ready for hit-makers Sugar Ray.
Sugar Ray hits Fremont Street on June 29, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. for a show you won’t soon forget.
The free concert takes place on our 1st Street stage near Golden Nugget and Binion’s.
The band landed mainstream popularity in 1997 with their pop hit, “Fly,” a collaboration with reggae artist Super Cat.
The group’s charismatic front man, Mark McGrath, helped make the band a sensation, and “Fly” helped make Sugar Ray’s “Floored” album go double-platinum.
After “Floored,” Sugar Ray released “14:59,” a tongue-in-cheek reference to its fading “15 minutes of fame.” Ironically, the CD wound up outselling its predecessor, going triple-platinum with hit singles “Every Morning,” “Someday” and “Falls Apart.”
Their success continued with the release of the self-titled album, “Sugar Ray,” which garnered the band its first-ever top 10 album.
