Three publications—Las Vegas Weekly, Vegas Seven and the Las Vegas Review-Journal—recently published their “Best of” lists and downtown received a slew of honors. If you’re looking for award-winning things to do in Las Vegas, you might use these honors as a jumping-off point.

There’s so much going on downtown, it’s hard to keep up. The only solution is to spend more time downtown, obviously!
Downtown Las Vegas, the original Las Vegas, is in the midst of a renaissance, with new restaurants, shows and other diversions announced nearly every day.
Aside from the diversity of what’s downtown, there’s also the undeniable value to be found, with prices a fraction of those on the Las Vegas Strip. The slots are looser, the free entertainment at Fremont Street Experience is non-stop and the hits just keep on coming.
