The Shriners Hospitals event was held to coincide with the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open golf tournament which took place at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.

PGA golfers Denny McCarthy and Hunter Stewart flew on SlotZilla to kick off the SlotZilla Charity Challenge.

PGA golfers Hunter Stewart and Denny McCarthy took to the skies over downtown Vegas to support Shriners Hospitals.

Here’s a look at McCarthy and Stewart as they take off from the SlotZilla tower, 77 feet up. Incidentally, Tiger Woods has posted a score of 77 or greater 17 times in his pro career.

Flying for charity!

Later in the day, PGA Tour golfers John Merrick and Derek Ernst flew on SlotZilla as well.

This time, the golfers flew on SlotZilla’s upper Zoomline. Flyers on the upper line take-off superhero-style. Learn more about SlotZilla.

Pro golfers Derek Ernst and John Merrick, ready to Zoom.

The Zoomline is 114 feet up. Sorry, we couldn’t find any golf trivia related to the number 114.

Check out John Merrick and Derek Ernst as they head toward the Viva Vision canopy.

Just kidding about the trivia thing. The 144th Open Championship was held at St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Zach Johnson won.

SlotZilla, Fremont Street Experience and its member hotel-casinos are pleased to work with worthy charities in our community.

Next up is a SlotZilla Charity Challenge for Opportunity in conjunction with the Las Vegas Great Santa Run. The event happens Dec. 5, 2015. Last year, we donated $15,068 to Opportunity Village, and this year we’re hoping to do even more.

Look forward to more fundraising events soon!
