Here are a few frequently asked questions about the newest thrill attraction in Las Vegas, Fear the Walking Dead Survival at Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas.


Q: What is Fear the Walking Dead Survival?

A: Fear the Walking Dead Survival is a first-of-its-kind, walk-through thrill attraction inspired by AMC’s hit TV series, “Fear the Walking Dead.” The attraction was created by Triotech, a Canadian company that’s brought dozens of technologically-advanced, interactive attractions around the world to life. It’s part thrill ride, part escape room, part maze, part haunted house and part interactive video game and motion ride. Fans of “Fear the Walking Dead” will recognize the theme, but even if you’ve never seen the show, you’re in for an unforgettable time.

Q: How much is it?

A: The attraction costs $24, plus processing fees ($3, non-refundable).

Q: Where can I purchase tickets?

A: Tickets can be purchased online or through the Call Center at 1-844-947-8342. A $4 non-refundable fee is applied to all Call Center orders. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the ticket office, however, guests will be limited to what is available at that time.

Q: What are the hours of operation?

A: Fear the Walking Dead Survival is open daily, 5:00 p.m. to midnight.

Q: How many people go on the ride at the same time?

A: Twelve guests begin the attraction at any one time, and groups of 12 start every five minutes. Tickets are sold in 20-minute windows of time, so guests can keep their wait to a minimum.

Q: How long does the experience last?

A: Approximately 18 minutes, although with the pre-show entertainment and check-in, figure on about 22 minutes.

Q: Is the attraction ADA accessible?

A: Yes, one wheel chair can be accommodated with each departing group of guests.

Q: Is there be merchandise available?

A: Yes! It’s Las Vegas. There is tons of swag available for purchase, including merchandise from both “Fear the Walking Dead” and “Walking Dead.”

Q: I had a change in my schedule can I exchange my tickets online?

A: Exchanges will only be allowed for ticket times that have not expired and there is a $10 per ticket exchange fee. Exchanges cannot be completed online, call our Call Center at 844-947-8342 for exchanges. Call Center fees apply.

Q: Can I use my GoPro or smart phone during the attraction?

A: No, unfortunately cameras and smartphones aren’t allowed on the attraction.

Q: Can I purchase photos from the attraction?

A: Yes, photos of your experience are available from our photography partner, Amazing Pictures. Your photo is taken during the attraction, so smile! There will also be a posed photo of you and your companion(s) once you exit. Photo packages are available upon exiting the attraction. Amazing Pictures can be reached at 800-368-6386.

Q: Can I wear a costume to the attraction?

A: No, guests in costumes will not be permitted to attend.

Q: Are there lockers for personal items?

A: No, lockers are not available for personal items. Handbags, small backpacks are permitted. Food and/or drinks are not permitted during the attraction.

Q: Are there age/weight/height requirements?

A: Yes, all guests must be a minimum of 3’4″ (40 inches) in height and max of 300 pounds per guests. There are no age limits as long as height and weight requirements are met. Guests under the age of 13 must be accompanied by another guest 13 or older. Parental discretion is advised as the attraction is intense. No refunds will be issued due to scare factor.

Q: Once queued or entered the attraction, we determined it was too scary for some in our party, can we get a refund for our tickets?

A: Fear the Walking Dead Survival is designed to offer maximum adrenaline rush and scare to all guests. Be advised no refunds will be offered due to “scare factor.”

Q: What if the attraction is closed due to maintenance?

A: Should the attraction close temporarily due to maintenance all guests for the affected show times will be offered a full refund (excluding Call Center fees) or exchanges (exchange fees will be waived).

Q: If I am issued a refund due to attraction closure, how long will it take for my refund to be issued?

A: Cash refunds will be processed immediately through the ticket office. Credit card refunds may take up to 14 days to post to your account. Refunds will only be processed to the original form of payment, no exceptions.

Q: Are any discounts available?

A: Active members of the military and seniors 65 years young or older. Proper I.D. is required when picking up your wristbands. One discount per senior/military discount. Discounts are available when purchasing tickets in person at the Ticket Office or through the Call Center at 844-947-8342 ($4 Call Center non-refundable fee applies).

Q: Are there discounts for groups?

A: Yes, group rates start at 20 tickets or more. The discounts are as follows: 20-99 tickets, 10% discount; 100-499 tickets, 15% discount; 500 tickets or more, 20% discount. For group discounts email info@dtzip.com or call 702-678-5780 during normal business hours.

Q: Any other small print I should know about?

A: Yes, guests cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We do not recommend the attraction to guests who are pregnant or if you have health concerns such as back, neck, shoulder, heart trouble or problems with balance or seizure disorders.
