On July 16, we’ll host another SlotZilla Charity Challenge, this time to benefit Three Square Food Bank.
All SlotZilla ticket sales, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on July 16, 2015, will be donated to the nonprofit.
The event will feature a 1:00 p.m. media event with Three Square reps and local celebrities on-site for photo ops and flights on SlotZilla.
Those in attendance will include UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin, BMX rider Ricardo Laguna and celebrity chef Rick Moonen. Also on-hand will be Miss Nevada US 2014 Lisa Song Sutton, Vegas Seven magazine food critic Al Mancini, chef Johnny Church and chef Beni Velazquez.
If you haven’t heard about SlotZilla, you’re missing out! It’s a unique urban zipline none other, with two ways to fly. The lower level, or Zipline, costs $20 and takes guests halfway down the Fremont Street Experience mall.
The upper level, or Zoomline, travels the full length of Fremont Street Experience and costs $40. Zoomline guests fly superhero-style.
“We developed the SlotZilla Charity Challenge concept as a fun and exciting way to give back to the community and we are honored to partner with Three Square Food Bank,” said Jeff Victor, President of Fremont Street Experience. “Three Square is an amazing organization that provides hunger relief to people in need in Southern Nevada. Everyone that comes down to fly on SlotZilla on either the Zoomline or Zipline on Thursday, July 16 will be supporting a great cause with every dollar of revenue going to Three Square.”
Tickets for SlotZilla can be purchased in person at the SlotZilla ticket office or online. The SlotZilla office is located next to the SlotZilla takeoff tower on Fremont Street between 4th Street and Las Vegas Boulevard. Parking is available at the Fremont Street Experience parking garage.
Three Square Food Bank was established in 2007 to provide hunger relief. Three Square offers food to 1,300 community partners that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans. Learn more about Three Square.
To-date, SlotZilla Charity Challenges have raised more than $73,000 for Las Vegas charities.
Fly SlotZilla on July 16. You’ll feed your need for adrenaline, as well as those less fortunate in our community.
