  1. Just wondering why such a genre excluded band line up? I do not really so much old school or even Motown or hip hop or caliente or even Reggae?

    1. Yes, a ticket is required. Although, make sure to check with your hotel. In the past, some have provided tickets as part of their room packages.

  2. Just wondering why there were no fireworks under the canopy on NYE?
The last time we were here we really enjoyed them. This year nobody on the street could see them. Sad deal

    1. Sorry about that! We went a different direction this year, with smoke and lasers and a new stage and all that. If you’re voting for fireworks, we’ll certainly make that opinion known, but we love changing things up. The Plaza did have fireworks after our midnight celebration, but as you said, folks would have to know that and make their way to Main Street to see them.

  3. Did the year in review light show happen and what time did it begin? We were so disappointed this year to either miss it or it not happen. Had trouble getting out the doors of Golden Nugget. Very incompetent security not letting people out the doors and screaming at us all!!!

    1. We had some special entertainment this year, so it was shown at 11:00 p.m. Sorry about that! Trying to get it on the YouTubes for posterity.

  4. This is gonna be so awesome, I can’t wait till I’m here. Should be by the end of the year and I hope Green Day will be back! Gonna hit up the zip line too.
    Thanks,
    Charlie King
