Fremont Street Experience Donates $6,800 to Muscular Dystrophy Association

The love for our local Las Vegas charities continues with a SlotZilla Charity Challenge benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southern Nevada.

Every penny of SlotZilla zip line ticket sales on April 16, 2015, noon to 6:00 p.m., totaling $6,800, went to the MDA.

Jeff Victor, President of Fremont Street Experience (left of big-ass check, below) and Tom Bruny, Director of Marketing of Fremont Street Experience (right of big-ass check) joined with Firefighters of Southern Nevada at a “Fill the Boot” press conference on May 1, 2015 to present a check to the MDA.

Please be careful with huge checks. In a strong wind, you could end up involuntarily paragliding.

Fill the Boot is an annual fundraising effort by firefighters for MDA. Learn more.

Revenue from SlotZilla ticket sales came from flights by members of the public on the attraction’s upper Zoomline ($40) and lower Zipline ($20).

Our series of SlotZilla Charity Challenges have resulted in donations of more than $70,000 to local nonprofits.

More fundraising events are planned throughout 2015, including events on behalf of Three Square food bank, Shriners Hospitals, American Heart Association and Opportunity Village.
